Staff Profiles

Donovan Owen is one of the principals of Owen and Associates.  A Florida licensed CPA for over 20 years, he is a graduate of Florida State University (Florida) and the University of Technology (Jamaica). He earned MBA and BSc-accounting degrees. Donovan is also a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA).

Professionally, Donovan has honed his skills with multiple organizations ranging from multinational conglomerates to start-up businesses.  He has been a key contributor in senior roles as CFO, Controller, Senior Business Analyst, Director of Business Operations, and Business Consultant. He has also worked with and implemented several business applications; and has practiced extensively in US GAAP and IFRS reporting environments. 

Donovan offers extensive experience in Manufacturing, Retail/Wholesale distribution, Industrial MRO’s, Oil and Gas, Integrated Cable Communication, and Financial Services.  He is a hands-on expert in financial and business management and stands ready to leverage this extensive expertise to the benefit of our clients.
